For the last 3-4 years, the event has honoured the White Ribbon Alliance, in the past they have displayed the Stories of Mothers Lost & Stories of Mother’s Saved collections and this year they will display twelve of Joanna’s portraits from her Dreams for my Daughter project.

Joanna’s photographic portrait project, in partnership with the White Ribbon Alliance, reached its first major stage on the 8th March with an exhibition at the South Bank Centre in London as part of their Women of the World festival.

The show included 40 portraits of White Ribbon Alliance supporters including Arianna Huffington, Donna Air, Diana Quick, Gaby Roslin and mothers from around the world where the White Ribbon Alliance is involved in projects to promote maternal health. The photographs were accompanied by texts describing their own personal dreams for their daughters.

The project has already been featured in print in You Magazine, Hello Magazine and several on-line newspapers to tie in with International Women’s Day.

Joanna is continuing with the project which will culminate with a book and exhibition in 2015.
